The extent of your endometriosis isn't always determined by the severity of your pain. You may have a small patch of endometriosis with severe pain, or you may have extensive endometriosis with only mild pain.
Endometriosis can make it difficult to conceive. Usually, on an infertility evaluation, many women who don't develop symptoms find out they have endometriosis. Endometriosis affects approximately 40% of women who are unable to conceive. A normal routine evaluation can go a long way in keeping you healthy.
